The center offers a variety of experiences for children of all ages to get up close with exotic animals. Tours must be booked in advance. Head over to Mebane and be sure to stop for a scoop (or two) at Muffin’s Ice Cream Shoppe ! Keep the energy going with a stop by Roasted Coffee Depot and a visit to the Children’s Museum of Alamance County , located in nearby Graham. The museum offers a variety of hands-on exhibits to keep kids and kids-at- heart entertained. Wind down the afternoon with a spin on the historic Dentzel Menagerie Carousel , one of only 14 in the world, or enjoy a concert at City Park . For evening fun, take in a Burlington Sock Puppets baseball game.
