There are just under 4,300 full-time equivalent students at Lusem across its four undergraduate and 13 postgraduate programmes, supported by 335 members of teaching staff. Lusem is one of nine faculties at Lund University, which has a total student body of approximately 47,000, or 29,000 when considering the number of full-time equivalent students. International students represent 25 per cent of this figure, with the proportion swelling to 44 per cent among postgraduate students. Lund University offers an abundance of standalone courses, allowing participants to build their own education rather than follow a specific degree path. These are particularly popular at undergraduate level, with those enrolled on bachelor’s-level options representing 22 per cent of the institution’s student body. At Lusem, there are 270 standalone courses available across its subject areas compared with a university‑wide total of 1,450.
