Recruit Class #152

Congratulations to the graduates of Recruit Class 152 for a job well done. On September 23, Recruit Class 152 graduated from the FWPD Academy, putting 39 new officers on the streets of Fort Worth. The recruits have been assigned to patrol divisions to begin phase one of their field training.

FWPD Officers Recognized by MedStar Officer Zach Briseno and Officer Juan Garcia were recognized by MedStar for their heroics on July 27. The officers responded to a call indicating a victim was injured by gunfire. Officer Briseno and Officer Garcia utilized their medical training and provided tourniquets and assistance to the victim until medical personnel arrived on scene. Congratulations Officer Briseno and Officer Garcia on your recognition.

FWPD Officers worked together to provide assistance to families throughout the city. East Division officers along with the Clergy and Police Alliance partnered with Home Depot to install AC units during the summer and the department ’ s Crisis Intervention and Homeless Outreach Program Enforcement Teams partnered with ReStore - Habitat for Humanity in delivering home furniture to Fort Worth residents.
