THE GRADUATE ISSUE

ROOTS AND WINGS THE 2025 GRADUATES OF SPRING LAKE

RON SCHRADER - PUBLISHER

Graduation marks both an ending and a beginning. It’s a time to look back on the lessons you’ve learned and the obstacles you’ve faced, experiences that have helped shape who you are and will continue to guide you as you move forward. Across every level, from 8th grade to graduate school, these milestones are a testament to hard work, resilience, and the support of the communities that shape us. This year feels especially meaningful as our own daughter joins the graduating class of H.W. Mountz, a place we’ve come to know not just as a school, but as a second home. Watching this group grow together has reminded us how deeply a village matters in raising and preparing young people for what comes next. Congratulations to all of this year’s graduates. Your journey is just beginning.

My advice to rising middle schoolers is don’t stress about the small stuff. Save the stress for high school.
