150,000 s/f community brings 104 luxury apts./townhomes to the Montgomery County borough The Galman Group adds The Flats at Jenkintown to its growing portfolio
J ENKINTOWN, PA — The Galman Group an- nounced its newest apart- ment and townhome com- munity in Jenkintown, is open and leasing for move-ins. The Flats at Jenkintown is a 150,000 s/f community bring- ing 104 luxury apartments and townhomes to the Montgomery County borough at 1300 Green- wood Ave., located within The Pavilion Town Center. The project first broke ground in November 2021. While final touches to the interior and ex- terior are still being finalized, the first residents were recently
welcomed into their new living spaces. The site expects to be at full capacity by the fall. “We are thrilled to bring even more diverse offerings to the housing inventory of our hometown of Jenkintown,” said Brian Paule , president of The Galman Group. “We are striking when the iron is hot — the suburban Philadel- phia counties are experiencing one of the most competitive rental markets in the country, and Jenkintown was recently named one of the best places to live in Pennsylvania.” The Flats provide individu-
als and families with various options, including studios, one-bedroom, one-bedroom den, two-bedroom apartments, and two-bedroom townhomes. The pet-friendly and non- smoking community provides residents with a variety of luxury amenities, including two large dog parks, a state-of- the-art fitness center, a yoga studio, gaming room, a confer- ence room, a resident lounge with a gourmet kitchen and bar for events, covered parking with electric vehicle charging stations, and more. The Flats at Jenkintown will be part of The Pavilion Town Center, a walkable village, which includes resi- dential living, dining, grocery, shopping, medical and other businesses that are all located in one location. “Our goal is to create a cen- tralized and convenient loca- tion for residents not only of The Flats but for those in Jenkintown and Abington at large to enjoy,” Paule said. “The Pavilion Town Center is just one of many ways we want to give back to the communities we serve and call home.” At the heart of The Pavilion Town Center is The Pavilion, a 310,000-square-foot com- mercial property with medi- cal and office spaces home to local and national businesses like The Daily Grind, Diane Glynn Jewelry, Pavilion Dry- cleaners, USPS, Firstrust Bank, Qdoba, Salon L’Etoile, and many others. Additional commercial sites are in the town center including Acme and Applebee’s.
