Adjuster Licensing Kaplan’s insurance adjuster licensing exam prep gives you the resources you need to pass your state exam the first time so you can focus on producing. Kaplan offers two paths for a nationwide offering for Adjuster Licensing: For states that offer an adjuster license, Kaplan offers packages to prepare the students for their Property & Casualty Adjuster exams. These states include: AK, AL, AR, AZ, CA, CT, DE, GA, FL, HI, ID, IN, KY, LA, ME, MI, MN, MS, MT, NC, NH, NM, NV, NY, OK, OR, RI, SC, TX, UT, VT, WA, WV, and WY. The Designated Home State (DHS) adjuster license is available to individuals who are residents of a state that does not license adjusters, or to individuals that are company adjusters and reside in a state that only licenses independent adjusters and/or public adjusters and want to designate another state as their home state. The states that qualify are CO, DC, IA, IL, KS, MA, MD, MO, ND, NE, NJ, OH, PA, SD, TN, VA, and WI. “The availability of Kaplan materials online and the depth of the test prep materials made studying a cinch. I especially liked the ability to compose practice exams that addressed weak areas that needed extra attention. I was shocked at the ease of the state exam in comparison to the preparation… Kaplan made the test a breeze on the first try.”
