Speaking of serving our Members for nearly 70 years, in 2022, we’ll get to drop the “nearly” as we officially celebrate our 70th anniversary. A lot of things have changed since 1952, but one thing that hasn’t changed is our commitment to our Members. Everything we do, from the products and services we offer, to the workshops we host, to the community events and organizations we sponsor, it’s all about supporting our Members and our community. So it should come as no surprise that Members (you!) will be a big focus of our 70th anniversary celebration. Be sure to stay tuned for details! As we enter the final quarter of the year, I encourage you to take advantage of everything we offer to make sure your financial house is in tip-top shape. Now’s a good time to take a look at where you stand and where you want to go over the next 6-12 months. Want to build your savings? You Spoke. We Listened! When we say we want to do everything we can to make your Frontwave experience great, we mean it. We value the feedback you give us, and take action to make improvements. Thanks to your input: • We’ve added the option to easily add a savings account, certificate, or money market account right inside online banking. Just tap on “Quick Apply” in the menu, then click on the “Add an account” banner (look for the piggy bank). • We revamped the process of updating notifications in online banking to make it quick and easy. Simply click on the “Alerts” icon in the “More” menu to add, remove or change notifications for everything from automatic withdrawals and debit card transactions, to direct and mobile deposits. • We made it possible to view or hide your full account number in the Account Details tab on the Frontwave mobile app. Got any other feedback for us? I’m excited to share some outstanding news with you this quarter – Frontwave was awarded Credit Union of the Year for 2020 by the Department of the Navy! We received this honor for the distinguished service and financial education our Frontwave crew provides to Marines, Sailors and civilians aboard Camp Pendleton. It’s the fifth time in the last seven years we’ve been honored with this award (with previous wins in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017), and it’s great to be back on top. We’ve been serving Marines and Sailors for nearly 70 years, and we do it well. Scratch that. We do it the best. In 2020 alone, we made over 55,000 Marine connections for group and individual training and education. We don’t just give our Members a place to bank, we help make their financial dreams come true.
