We are excited to introduce veterans to the rewarding oppor- tunities within the funeral service profession through the inspiring "Journey to Serve" initia- tive. This unique campaign, launched in 2021 by the Funeral Service Foundation and the ICCFA Educational Foundation, aims to bridge the gap between military experience and funeral ser- vice careers, offering veterans a meaningful new chapter in their professional lives. The "Journey to Serve" initiative is a collabora- tive effort designed to engage, recruit, and hire veterans into various roles within the funeral service industry. This campaign targets positions in funeral homes, cemeteries, crematories, and even extends to supporting roles within funer- al vendors, finance companies, and insurance partners.
