Welcome

Thank you for considering a career with Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. We are a team of people who care deeply about the communities we serve across Berkshire, Surrey and North East Hampshire, and we are proud of the difference our colleagues make every day. Our new organisational strategy, FHFT 2030, sets a clear course for delivering care that is compassionate, effective and modern. We are also progressing the once-in-a-generation redevelopment of Frimley Park Hospital, which creates exciting opportunities for people who want to shape the future of healthcare.

Why we are here

Our patients are the reason we exist. Every colleague - clinical and nonclinical - plays a part in helping people feel safe, listened to and well cared for when it matters most. That shared purpose shapes how we work and how we treat one another. Clinical teams provide expert, compassionate care and support people and families through diagnosis, treatment and recovery. Nonclinical teams make sure services run smoothly and environments are safe, welcoming and efficient. Together, we create a seamless experience where every interaction counts. We back people to do their best work. We listen, act on feedback and remove barriers that get in the way of great care. Whether you’re at the bedside, running a clinic, maintaining our facilities, analysing data or supporting a service behind the scenes, your contribution improves outcomes and experiences every day. If you want a role where your efforts clearly help patients and communities, you will find a home at Frimley Health.

Why choose Frimley Health

People join for the purpose and stay for the culture. You’ll find the scale to make a real impact and the warmth of a supportive, close-knit community. Flexible working is part of how we plan services, and we welcome fulltime, parttime and other patterns that balance life and work. Development here is practical and visible. You’ll have access to mentoring, leadership programmes and opportunities to broaden your experience across specialties, sites and projects. We pair modern tools with person centred services so teams can focus on what matters most to patients. If you’re weighing up options across the NHS and private sector, our offer is distinctive: meaningful work with a strong sense of community, managers who are approachable and fair, and the chance to shape a new hospital that will serve our populations for decades. Choose Frimley Health to build a career that feels worthwhile every.

Our FHFT 2030 strategy aims to transform healthcare for our communities. It focuses on creating new care models, modernising delivery, improving colleague experiences and enhancing the quality of care. This will help us prioritise investments and make timely decisions to provide compassionate, effective and modern healthcare. At Frimley Health, we believe that great teams create outstanding patient experiences. Our vision is: ‘To be compassionate, effective, and modern in all that we do’. We will achieve our vision by focusing on our four strategic objectives over the next five years: highly satisfied patients, engaged people, modern infrastructure, and excellent quality . And in all that we do, our behaviours will always align with and be guided by our values: committed to excellence, working together, and facing the future. We want to make Frimley Health a great place to deliver and receive care – now and in the future.

Our vision, values and strategy

We’re committed to equality, diversity and inclusion Equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) are part of everything we do. We serve diverse communities and want our workforce to reflect and celebrate that diversity. Our People Strategy weaves in clear EDI ambitions because when colleagues feel they belong, they bring their best - and patient care improves. We support fair recruitment and progression, flexible working and active staff networks. We listen through surveys and regular conversations, and we act on what we hear. If you need adjustments, we’ll work with you to make them. Inclusion is everyone’s job - leaders, managers and teams - and we keep learning so Frimley Health can be the best place to work in the NHS.

Our new Frimley Park Hospital

Enabling transformation for decades to come. The redevelopment of Frimley Park Hospital is one of the most ambitious healthcare infrastructure projects in the UK and a cornerstone of the national New Hospital Programme. This is not just about replacing ageing buildings - it’s about reimagining how healthcare is delivered for decades to come.

The programme is already driving improvement across the Trust.

Our current hospital, built in the 1970s, has served our communities well, but it was never designed for today’s demands or tomorrow’s innovations. The new hospital will be digitally enabled, sustainable and future- proof, creating spaces that support advanced diagnostics, modern theatres, and integrated care pathways. It will also prioritise wellbeing for patients and staff, with natural light, green spaces and flexible layouts that adapt to changing needs.

We’re aligning services, expanding elective capacity at Heatherwood, and developing neighbourhood and virtual care models. Construction is scheduled to begin between 2028 and 2029, but the benefits will be felt long before opening day as we modernise systems, streamline processes and embed new ways of working. Joining this programme means being part of something extraordinary. You’ll work alongside clinicians, estates specialists, digital innovators, and community partners to deliver a hospital that sets new standards for care, sustainability and inclusion. This is your chance to leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
