In the spring, we launched a Call for Proposals for this effort, called “The 250th Project: Sharing Minnesota’s Stories” to seek ideas for content and/or outreach possibilities that reflect the histories and experiences of our community, state and nation. TPT plans to award up to six R&D grants for ideas that center on multiplatform non-fiction documentaries, series and community engagement around this important upcoming milestone in American history.

TPT sparks connection and engagement After watching local arts, culture and history shows on TPT, viewers reported the following statements: • 73% Feel more connected to Minnesota. • 73% Feel more informed about what is going on in their community. • 68% Learned about new artists in their community.
