ALMANAC “Almanac” continues to be a trusted source for in- depth coverage and insightful analysis of Minnesota’s most critical issues. During the 2024 legislative session, “Almanac” closely followed key developments, featuring live conversations with political leaders at every level of state government. In an important election year. “Almanac” also offered analysis and context on both state and national political races, including important coverage of Governor Tim Walz’s selection as Vice President Kamala Harris’s running mate. With a commitment to delivering balanced perspectives and timely discussions on politics, social issues and community stories, “Almanac” provides viewers with the essential context they need to stay informed and engaged. Informing Audiences TPT strengthens communities by serving as a trusted source of essential information and connection. For decades, TPT has created programming and resources that ensure people have access to the essential information they need on the local and national issues that matter most. We also provide spaces where individuals can learn, grow and find the support they need to tackle health, safety and other community challenges.
In a survey of TPT Viewers: • 88% learned about perspectives different from their own • 71% felt more connected to other communities in the state • 68% felt more connected to their community
