By sharing trusted news, public safety and health information and timely local insights, TPT keeps Minnesotans informed on the issues that matter most.

Celebrating local culture, history and community is core to TPT’s mission. Through compelling stories that honor diverse voices and unique perspectives, TPT encouraged viewers to support local artists, explore the impact of our state’s history and engage in civic life. • FOSTERS LIFELONG LEARNING. Education lies at the heart of TPT’s purpose. From engaging programming and educational outreach, TPT empowered children, equipped educators, supported caregivers and fostered learning experiences that last a lifetime.
