Boston Climate

As it is located in the Northeast, Boston experiences all four of the seasons and usually has ideal weather year-round. Boston experiences hot and humid summers, cold and snowy winters, and mild yet rainy springs and autumns. The city’s coastal location helps to moderate temperatures, but also causes the area to be prone to Nor'easter weather systems throughout the year. This area averages 43.8 inches of rain and snowfall annually, with the majority of snow falling between late December to early March. Layers are usually suggested, as well as an umbrella or raincoat as weather is constantly changing in the city.

Alicia Checked In At: Saltie Girl – “A small casual seafood place, amazingly fresh. They don’t take reservations so the pro tip is to go early and be flexible with times, and its right near the boutique!”

Brian Checked In At: Improv Asylum – “It’s a dive bar, but fun for standup comedy.”

Molly Checked In At: Florentine Café – “The Lobster Ravioli and Bruschetta were outstanding! The open-air concept is perfect for summer nights.”

Diana Checked In At: The Daily Catch – “I love most of the restaurants on the North End! I specifically remember The Daily Catch. Although there was a long wait time, cash only, and small inside, their black pasta was delicious. Also desserts from Mike’s Pastry if you’re already in the area and need something sweet!
