Preparation

Ensuring that all plastic and rubber parts are removed from the valve body (including the cartridge and integral stops), solder 1/2" copper tube to the valve inlet and outlet ports. Avoid soldering excessively at high temperature.

Ensure that all arrows and the word UP on the mud guard and valve body point upwards and the fluid logo is right side up.
