For installation onto a thick wall: Mount the valve body by securely attaching the raised bracket with 4 screw onto the studs, so that the front of the finished wall lies between the Min and Max indicated on the depth label. If the wall cavity is shallow, the raised bracket can be removed.
Use the enclosed bubble level to ensure a level/square installation.

Remove the center screw using a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the plastic mud guard cones using diagonal or cutting pliers.
Turn on both the hot and cold water supplies.

Install and rotate both handles to flush the pipes. Turn off the water and install the caps (not supplied). Turn the water back on and check for leaks. NOTE: If the handle is not available, the cartridge stem can be rotated by hand.
Turn the water supply off. IMPORTANT: In Keeping with standard plumbing practices it is essential that all tub/shower systems be tested extensively for leaks before the finishing wall, (tile, etc.) is completed.
