Hello and welcome to our 16th annual production sale. First, we want to thank our past buyers for their confidence and support of our program. We are grateful for the friendships we’ve made and the continued support we’ve received throughout our time in this business. The bulls have been fed a complete mixed ration consisting of chopped hay, silage, corn, distillers, and a complete mineral program. The bulls did not receive creep feed. The average daily gain test started on the day of weaning – November 1– and continued for 120 days. We feel this long test honestly shows what they can do through the weaning process and a good portion of the winter. We always aim to grow the bulls rather than push them. We take pride in representing our cattle honestly – absolutely no “fluffed” numbers or information. We believe in breeding the most balanced and functional cattle possible. We do not chase any one individual trait. All the bulls are semen tested, soundness evaluated, and genomic enhanced, with EPDs available on every offering. These bulls are ready to go to work for you. As we look to the future of our program, we recognized it was time to make changes to become more efficient with less labor force. With this in mind, we have decided to move our calving date back to align with our commercial herd, which will also shorten our calving season. With that change, we will transition to selling coming 2-year-old bulls starting with our 2026 sale. To make this transition possible without sacrificing quality by simply digging deeper into our bull pen, we worked with our friends at TNT Simmentals to acquire some extra, high-quality bulls to help provide a strong offering for both the 2025 and 2026 sales. We believe this approach allows us to offer some of our top-end bulls in both years while

keeping both offerings as balanced as possible – until we have our full-force bull crop available in 2027. If you have questions about how we are moving forward, we’d love to visit with you about how we plan to continue offering the same quality you’ve come to expect from our program – now at a more developed age, which we believe brings added advantages to our customers. While we haven’t yet finalized the date or format for our age-advantaged bull sale, we do know it will take place in late January or early February 2026. Stay tuned for updates on our website and in future advertising. We’d like to thank the Kuhn and Huber families for their friendship and partnership in this sale. It’s been a pleasure to work alongside such good people. As change is inevitable in life, we begin a new chapter in our program with excitement about what we’ll offer to our customers in the years ahead. We encourage you to view the bulls at the ranch anytime before the sale and receive $100 credit toward your bull purchase. If you’re unable to attend, give us a call – we’d be happy to talk through the bulls and help you find the best options to fit your individual needs. Videos of each bull will be available on DVAuction.com or our website, crosshairsimmental.com. Once again this year, some of our valued customers will be bringing top-end commercial heifers to the offering – so be sure to check those out as well. We invite you to take the evening off and join us at 5 p.m. on April 25 at Napoleon Livestock. We hope to see you at the sale and let you see for yourself how a bull from CHSR can add pounds to your calf crop and improve your profitability. Thank you for your interest and support. Ben, Cassie, Brinley, Hailey, Jaxson, Jace, Colton and Bodey Kleppe
