Plant managers, engineers, and technicians quickly share issues in real time from their facilities directly with MHIA staffers, enabling them to minimize downtime and provide fast solutions. “In late 2021, EVOL AR saved a box plant in Brazil days of downtime. The below accounting of what happened is instructive and a representative of the challenges many of our customers face and how EVOL AR responds. “A major EVOL machine malfunction seemed to be the problem. Troubleshooting over the phone and via email proved to be difficult, with a language barrier and newer, inexperienced maintenance techs adding to the difficulty. After a day or two of struggling, the customer was con- vinced that there was a major mechanical problem that re- quired an emergency rebuild. (They had not done this par- ticular rebuild in nearly three years; normally the company recommends one every two years.) The team was told to immediately send parts and a technician – they could not afford any additional downtime. “Sending a technician quickly would be a huge hurdle. It was at the peak of the COVID-19 Delta Variant and no
