GRACE For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. John 1:17 Many partakers of grace don’t know its meaning: unlimited mercy, undeserved favor, unmerited love. I. The Source of This Stream 1. John 1:14, 17: “The Word . . . full of grace and truth.” 2. Romans 5:15: “ The free gift” abounds to many. 3. I Corinthians 1:3: Grace from God and from the Lord Jesus Christ; “ the grace of God . . . by Jesus Christ.” 4. If you want to get any grace, you must know God. He is the God of all grace. II. Unto Whom Does God Offer Grace? 1. Matthew 21:28: The man who said he wouldn’t go, and then saw that he was wrong, and went, grace held up. a. God will save anyone who will re pent and turn to God. b. God’s grace abounds in proportion to a man’s sin. 2. Mark 7:24ff.: See how Christ dealt with that woman. a. Jesus called her a dog just to try her. b. She was satisfied to be given only a crumb, so she got the whole loaf. c. When you come to Jesus as a beg gar you go away as a prince. 3. Luke 7: Iff.: The elders said the centurion was worthy. a. The centurion said, “ I am not worthy,” and sent his friends to Jesus because he thought them better than himself. b. Jesus marveled at his faith and answered his prayer. III. The Grace of God Can Save You 1. Christ is the sinner’s friend and al ways deals in grace. Let Him bless you now. 2. Salvation is a free gift (Ephesians 2:8, 9). A Scotchman said it took two to save him: “ God gave me His grace, and I fought against Him.” 3. He’ll smile upon you, if you’ll just take grace from Him. Open the door of your hearts, and let in the King of glory. You’ll be saved when you believe. Christ said to that poor, sin ning woman, “ Neither do I condemn thee. Go and sin no more.” —Dwight L. Moody

Select your own orphan from the pictures above and become a sponsor of one of these dear children for only $8 a month— just 26 pennies a day. Each child is waiting for a “ Daddy and Mommie” or “ Big Brother or Sister.” You may ask a friend to be a co-sponsor with you, $4 each, or interest your Sunday School, Bible Class, Junior Church, Ladies Group or other organi: zations. Thus you will provide loving care, shelter, food and clothing and the cost of school tuition. Help bring your chosen boy or girl to Christ and aid in training a future Christian leader in Korea where the Gospel is greatly needed. Every day these children are taught the Bible, they sing Christian songs and earnestly pray. Each child attends church and Sunday School and is led to receive Christ as personal Saviour. W in te r Is Bitter In Korea The severe Korean winter threatens the very lives of many children who are without homes, food or clothing. They must ^ beg or steal their food and sleep in doorways or sheds, without covering, unless you help us bring them into our Homes. All

children cared for have heartbreaking stories. The father of Nos. D -l, D-2 and D-3 was a church pastor who died in 1958; the mother two years later. When a friend who cared for them could no longer buy food, he brought them to our Chinhae Orphanage. The parents of D-4 and D-5 were killed by Communists during the Korean War. The mother of No. D-6, Yung Hui Kim, abandoned her when the father was killed in a railroad accident. The parents of D-9, Yong Cha Lee, are both dead. The father, a policeman, was killed in a traffic accident. It is a wonder how some of the orphans cared for managed to stay alive while suffering indescribably from hungery, exposure and loneliness. The orphan you select to sponsor will know that you have his or her picture and history. Your letters will be answered in English and any packages of toys or clothing you may send will be gratefully acknowledged. What opportunity for joy and blessing this can mean to you.
