Providing guests with a selection of 55 one and two bedroom units, the buildings have recently been com­ pleted and readied for occupancy. The 54-year-old Christian Southern Calif­ ornia organization also plans to offer guests life-care facilities in the near future. Further expansion of the de­ velopment is also anticipated in ad­ dition to the recreational, club center, and chapel facilities which are already in existence. Dr. J. H. Woodward has been ap­ pointed by the Bible Institute of Los Angeles as manager of the develop­ ment. Dr. Clarence Wheeler, promi­ nent Arizona businessman, and mem­ ber of the Biola Board of Directors, will supervise details of the program, from the institution’s Southwestern office at 3025 West McDowell Road, Phoenix 9, Arizona. Miss Irene Woods, Minneapolis, has been appointed to the position of Assistant Professor of English at Biola College, according to Dr. James H. Christian, dean of the school. Miss Woods, a Baptist, received both her bachelor of science and her master of arts degrees from the University of Minnesota. For eight years she taught English and Spanish on the high school level in Minnesota. For five years she served on the faculty of Northwestern College.
