Pursuing God’s heart goes far beyond a statement, a verse or a year. It pours out into every facet of life, in every encounter and in every day. One can only speak from my personal experience, and if there is one thing that is clear, it’s that this man loves the Lord. His love for the Lord is his motivation in all he does from acting as Executive Dean, teaching Bible Survey, leading a new ministry team and one of the greatest gifts God can give a man, the honor of serving Him as a husband and father. We, as a class, want to say “thank you, Mr. Strout” for the image of Christ you have shown to each and every one of us and for your love of Christ which is evident through your presence. We also want to thank you for the “video of the hour,” a much-needed laugh on many a long day!
