The Bible Institute brings together people from all over the world. Rarely is this statement proven more factual than during the talent show. Many people present their different talents before the Student Council. Once they make it through the grueling process of elimination, we are left with 10 acts to judge publically as a student body. Although most of the acts were singing, it ranged through many genres. In the end, Jon South was voted the top most-talented with his rendition of “Long Black Train”. Coming in second were Pez and the Gang with their song, “WOLBI Rock Anthem.” In an unusual situation, we had a tie for third between the Lion King Quartet and the group of CJ, Jake, Ben and Chris with their original song, “You Saved Us.” All in all, it was an excellent display of talent. The Spring talent show only brought more hidden tal ent to the stage. This time around there were a lot of monologues and less music. Coming in first place was RoRo Thomas who performed a monologue, and we had another tie but this time for second place between Micah Stoudt and Sydney Dahl singing a duet and Phil Miranda and his keyboarding performance.
