I had an image of the country of Brazil and how it looks like and what they ate since I used to live in Brazil. But what I experienced on the ministry side was all new things. We had an opportunity to meet Mr. Harold Reimer who started the Word of Life ministry in Brazil with Mr. Harry Bollback and hear his testimony from his life experience. He caught all of my attention because the situation was what Japan looks like spiritually now and what he wanted to do with Brazil was the same as what I want to do in my future in Japan. We worked for a local kids ministry for the first day and worked for the day camp ministry most of the week. We were told that local kids were so poor and every kid has some family issue and they need love. So I was expecting that we need to go and show them love. But they actually came to the us and asked us a bunch of questions and jumped on our backs. I was moved by their smile when they were playing with us. They looked so happy. Ministry became more real through this trip. In Philippians chapter two, it talks about being one and when we actually do it, God uses us since He is so gracious and faithful to us.
