With Mr. Keith Balsley as our
leader, we had such a great year participating in the running group. We all ran individually several times throughout the week, but twice a week we would come together to run as a group. The energy that most of us carried made the group so much fun to be a part of. We are all grateful for Mr. Keith keeping us accountable and getting us involved in outside events. We had the opportunity to participate in the 2010 Thanksgiving Turkey Trot in Tampa, Florida, as well as the 2011 Picnic Island Adventure Run in Tampa, FL. We really pushed one another and kept good Christian attitudes while running. It was an awesome year!
“I never thought I would have the opportunity to run two races at Bible College!" says Ethan Warren. "Participating in the running class with Mr. Balsley has been an exhilarating experience and I’m thankful for friends to exercise with. The highlight of the running class for me was training for the 3.6 mile obstacle course with my good friend David Seaton. We agreed after weeks of pushing each other to the limits that no matter what, we would start and finish the race side by side. As you can see it wasn’t exactly ‘side-by-side,’ but it got the job done.”
