Ministry in Action: An Inside Look
It has often been said that Word of Life does not have any spectators, only participants. And when it comes to ministry, everyone is involved. One of the many ministry teams is The Word of Life Ensemble. Our mission is to influence people of all ages, especially youth, through a variety of music and drama performances. The team travels all over the Southeast ministering at local Christian Schools, churches, youth groups and even public schools. Impacting students with the music and dramas are a big part of what we do, but another way we seek to impact students is by interacting with them on a more personal level - truly being interested in what they are struggling with and taking them directly to the Word of God for answers. Although we have fun, sing loudly in the van and treat each other as family, we realize the importance of our ultimate goal whether on stage or out in the community. The Ensemble’s greatest responsibility is every Christian’s responsibility: the Great Commission: leading lost souls to Christ. It has been such an awesome privilege to serve Jesus Christ and to see many lives transferred from darkness to light.
