Hamworthy Wessex ModuMax mk3 boiler temperature rise across the module, maximising condensing operation.
Wessex ModuMax is a floor standing, high efficiency condensing boiler range with up to 95% gross seasonal efficiency. All models feature 100% to 20% modulation on each module and hot surface ignition with 120V power transformer. The Wessex ModuMax mk3 is available in individual condensing boiler modules of 97 kW, 116 kW, 147 kW, 196 kW and 254 kW and in a choice of one, two or three-modules high pre-assembled boiler stacks. This offers 13 output power options ranging from 97 kW up to 762 kW. The heat exchanger is manufactured in high grade stainless steel to provide protection against condensate and corrosion. Each module is designed to operate continuously at up to 40 °C delta T differential
The mk3 upgrade of the boiler has been developed in direct response to the increased use of wider delta T design methodologies in commercial buildings and district heating systems. Sequencing for up to 16 boilers in a multiple boiler installation is achievable via Merley sequence controller

Compact, easy to install and easy to maintain, the C340/640 line-up of floor standing, modulating condensing gas boilers is designed to operate with natural gas, with a 109% annual operating efficiency. Engineered for reliable and efficient performance, the boilers are designed with new and old building plant rooms in mind and has the capacity to be installed in casade system, which provides flexibility in floor design. It also has an optional secondary return feature that makes this boiler particularly suitable for use with heating technologies that use lowgrade heat – such as heat pumps or underfloor heating circuits. The series has a wide output range from 51 to 1303 kW, and more in the case of cascade installation. The modulating burner guarantees optimum combustion quality over the complete modulation range thanks to the integrated premix system for a constant air/gas ratio.
