Team members saddle up for MacBlair’s 300- mile charity cycle M acBlair is partnering with two new charities for 2022/23: AWARE and Community Rescue Service, and this September, staff from Watershed, MacBlair, Doorways, P McDermotts & Wood Floor Warehouse will take on a 300-mile cycle challenge around the entire MacBlair network of 19 branches to help raise funds for them. Six colleagues are taking part in the main cycle, supported by staff members taking part in virtual static cycles in all the branches. on challenges and organising events, in aid of both amazing charities. The first fund raising event was the Bann River 10Km Raft Challenge on behalf of the CRS. The challenge was a 10Km paddle down the Bann in fancy dress. A total of 13 teams were involved on the

day from all the brands and as a group they raised over £10,000. MacBlair is inviting all its customers, suppliers, friends and family to join in and get involved with their fund raising events to help raise funds for their AWARE and CRS. www.macblair.com

Greenline celebrates five fantastic years

A huge turnout of customers and suppliers made Greenline Plumbing Supplies fifth anniversary event a day to remember. The day of celebrations took place on July 22 at the Navan branch and also marked the official opening of Greenline’s onsite Training Centre by Meath LGFA Senior player, Orlagh Lally (who is now playing in the AFL in Australia).

There were plenty of giveaways for customers who entered the birthday raffle, including: an Ideal Electrical Undersink Water Heater (10 Litre); 2 x RT Large Boston Close Coupled Toilets; an EPH Controls EMBER PS 3 Zone System; a SUMM Dual Cook Station BBQ Magnus; a Walrus HQ400 Electronic Control Pump and a Daikin MC55VB Air Purifier! Customers also had the opportunity to chat one-on-one and get the latest product information from a host of suppliers who travelled to Navan to show their support to Greenline. In total, fifteen suppliers attended: SONAS Bathrooms, Grant IRL, Pipelife Ireland, Daikin Ireland, Ideal Energy Distribution, Worcester Bosch, Joule, Baxi Potterton Myson, Viessmann, Solvall, Warmflow, EPH Controls, South Coast Sales, Firebird Heating Solutions and Heating Engineer Supplies. David Bates, Managing Director for Greenline Plumbing Supplies thanked everyone for attending the “fantastic and hectic” fifth birthday celebration, expressing his sincere gratitude to all the suppliers who made the journey to attend the event. www.greenlineps.com
