P ipelife Ireland is delighted to welcome Midea to the family. The Midea Monobloc Heat Pump is the latest addition to their heating solutions and will complement the range of heat pumps, underfloor heating, smart controls, low- temperature radiators, heat recovery units, and air conditioning units. This is quite an addition to their team. Midea is the world’s number 1 manufacturer of HVAC products and supplies more than 25% of the air conditioning across the globe. EASY COMFORT The Midea M Thermal is an integrated system that provides space heating and cooling, as well as domestic hot water, offering a solution to suppress the need for traditional gas or oil boilers or work together with them. The single unit is installed outside. The heat pump is connected to the indoor heating system simply by laying two heat-insulated pipes and the electric connection cables underground. The Midea M Thermal Monobloc air to water heat pump systems are available in single phase capacities of 4kW - 16kW, or
three phase capacities of 12kW to 30 kW. The M thermal A Series features a higher leaving water temperature in a colder environment. It gets up to 60° at -15° ambient temperature. With the help of AHS or IBH, the water temperature can reach 65° at -25°. Pipelife’s Technical Sales Manager Michael Geary commented: “Midea engineers were clearly inspired by the best features of other machines in the market. They have managed to get 16kW out of a single-fan unit thanks to the scallop-shape blade, which increases airflow but keeps noise levels down.” The Midea unit is equipped with all regular features, such as weather compensation,
