Lorraine (Pictured on the left ) and I hope that you enjoyed the first edition of The Galley Girl’s Diary. In this photo, Lorraine was visiting me in Quebec City while I was working on the Spruceglen. We are sisters and best friends. She will often drive for hours to come for a visit, even for only a few hours. Those visits highlight my day and always bring renewed energy. We love working on projects together and have written two cookbooks and a Children’s book, The Adventures of Mitchel Mouse. We enjoy visiting different towns and cities for book signings and meet-and-greets. They are always fun, and we love meeting people who love the same things we do: ships, great food, and making new friends. I will be back with another edition of The Galley Girl’s Diary next week.
