Terra Cat is making life easier for its customers by now sending parts directly to their doors at no extra cost. In most cases, if the parts are ordered through Terra Cat’s parts team before 3pm and are a stocked item, they’ll be delivered to the customer’s business the next day. Terra Cat CEO Chris Heaton says this streamlined process is part of a series of recent changes designed to make Terra easier to work with. “Delivering parts directly to our customers saves them both time and money by not having to travel to their local Terra Cat branch to order, and then again pick up their parts,” says Chris. “We’ve also consolidated our parts holding to two main distribution centres in Auckland and Christchurch to improve the overall parts availability that our customers need.” CONTACTING TERRA As part of the changes, Terra Cat has also simplified how customers can get in touch with the parts and service teams, to ensure they speak to the right person at the right time. At the same time, enhancements have been made to the tracking feature on Parts.Cat.Com, allowing customers to locate their parts using real-time ‘last mile’ tracking. This includes a tracking number, a tracking link, and courier information. “The last phase of a package’s journey from the distribution hub to the customer’s doorstep is the most unpredictable part of the delivery process,” says Chris. “Providing real-time visibility on the location of a package provides peace of mind for our customers, and removes unnecessary trips to the courier depot or scheduling conflicts with technicians.” Note – real-time tracking is only available for parts ordered through Parts.Cat.Com, as Terra’s parts ordering system has limited tracking capability. Should you need an update on a part, call 0800 447 225 and they can either track the parcel or provide you with a tracking number.
