Burials in Clayton Meadows
Burials in Clayton Meadows Information guide 2024
About Clayton Meadows Clayton Meadows is our 5 acre managed wild grass and flower meadow in the southern end of the site where we offer a more naturalistic and low impact approach to burials. We use traditional meadow management techniques and are taking a new, minimal approach to memorialisation which better respects the landscape character in this important part of the South Downs National Park. Graves are located throughout this wonderful setting and are dug sensitively to minimise disturbance to the flora and fauna. We ask that you support the Clayton Wood ethos to ensure all areas of the site remain natural, native and wild.
Memorials in Clayton Meadows • There are memorial poles nestled within the tree lined margins of the meadow on which a personalised plaque purchased from Clayton Wood can be placed • Individual graves should not be marked with personalised memorials Please speak to our members of staff or look on our website for burial options and prices.
