Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCBs) ensure electrical safety in homes, offices and other buildings as well as for industrial applications by protecting electrical installations against overloads and short-circuits. We now have a 14kA interrupting capacity according to UL 489/CSA 22.2 No. 5 and have an extended 125/250 V DC rating, all the way to 63A. Our extended voltage rating has led to higher performance and increases the range of applications, broadening ABB's MCB portfolio.
