Mary went to a big school In the city to learn how to become a teach er. She had to study harder there than ever before in her life. She studied so hard, she didn’t have time to do anything else but study and pray. When she finished her studies at the big school, she passed and re ceived her teacher’s certificate. Then she came right back to the Mukti Mission where she had grown up, and taught in the school where she had failed so many times. Because of her faithfulness, the Lord Jesus then did something very wonderful for Mary. After she had taught for a number of years, a very fine Christian young man asked her to be his bride. Before her marriage, she went to the office of the Mukti Mission and said to the superin- A PRAISE ACROSTIC P raise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is com ely" (Psa. 147:1). You saved my life as a baby, you encouraged me to continue in school even when I did not want to, you told me about the Lord Jesus, and now I am the hap piest woman in all the world. I want to give you a large part of the money I saved as a teacher, to help you take care of other little babies who come, as you took care of me.” Mary is married now and has a home all her own, and she under stands now that all her life the Lord Jesus had this wonderful plan for her» but it was only fulfilled when she yielded her will to Him and let Him have His way. So long as she said, “ I don’t want to,” then she was unhappy. But when she started to pray, “ Lord Jesus, I will do what you want me to do,” then all these wonderful things started to happen, and now she is a happy bride. And the Lord Jesus has a wonderful plan for every life entrusted to Him. A true story from the Ramabai Mukti Mission.
