BIOLA COLLEGE has strong Christian and Biblical em phases and grants the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Music, and Bachelor of Science degrees. It is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, the Collegiate Division of the Accrediting Association of Bible Col leges, and is an associate member of the American Association of Schools of Religious Education. In addition to the thorough academic requirements, each student is required to complete at least thirty units of Bible and Doctrine. Realizing that the acquisition only of spiritual benefits may lead to staleness, each student is required to take part weekly in some type of Christian service.
New in 1964 will be Biola’s Nursing program. Because we are convinced that there is a need for more qualified Christian nurses, we are preparing this coordinated program in general college education and nursing. Also to be initiated is a major in Physical Education. Chris tian leadership in this field will present untold opportunities to win young people to Christ.
