Virtual Celebration Recognizes, Honors Dr. King MLK DAY CELEBRATION Continuing a strong and longstanding partnership, the Diversity Council, Rochester Branch NAACP and Rochester Area Chamber once again partnered to host the 26th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. “We Have a Dream” Virtual Community Celebration. Featuring poets, performers, and a keynote with former Chief Justice Alan Page, this captivating program served to honor the legacy of Dr. King and reflect on his impact on our community. The City of Rochester and Olmsted County partnered to help raise awareness about the event, and the community responded, with hundreds of people tuning into the live stream presentation and participate in the afternoon “people’s program.”
