BCC and Fayetteville Technical Community College sign Agreement for Funeral Services Program

Brunswick Community College (BCC) began a new partnership with Fayetteville Technical Community College (FTCC) to offer a Funeral Services Program beginning in Fall 2025. This program will provide a unique opportunity for students interested in funeral service careers. BCC President Gene Smith and FTCC President Mark A. Sorrells signed the agreement during a ceremony at BCC, attended by leadership, faculty, and staff from both colleges. Under this agreement, BCC students can earn a two- year associate degree in Funeral Service Education. To meet the program’s practical requirements, students will participate in hands-on labs at FTCC or gain work-based learning experience at local funeral homes in Brunswick County. This hands-on experience provides students with real-world skills and prepares them for their future careers.

BCC and Richmond Community College sign Instructional Service Agreement for 911 Communications and Operations Program

Brunswick Community College (BCC) and Richmond Community College (RCC) signed an Instructional Service Agreement (ISA) for the 911 Communications and Operations program. The program offers students the opportunity to earn an Associate of Applied Science Degree. Under the agreement, students can take core program courses at either institution, providing expanded access and flexibility. This approach ensures that students receive a well-rounded education encompassing both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

BCC and Campbell University Announce New Partnership BCC announced a new partnership with Campbell University through the Campbell Assured Admission Program. This agreement opens doors for BCC graduates, ensuring a seamless pathway to Campbell University to pursue bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees.
