Human Resources In 2024, the BCC human resources department implemented several changes to help improve the efficiency and productivity of the department all while continuing to provide excellent customer service to the community, staff, and students.
• Added a new role of the HR Specialist to meet the growing needs of college.
• Participated in job fairs to attract new talent.
• Digitalized records for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Implemented NEOGOV applicant tracking system to streamline everyday HR processes.
• Hosted annual employee flu/COVID clinic partnering with the Brunswick County Health Department.
• Collaborated with Novant Health to schedule wellness days for employees.
• New member of CUPA HR NC and Community College Human Resources Association.
