Class 70 and Class 71 Celebrate 23 BLET Graduates The 70th and 71st classes of Brunswick Community College’s Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) program completed their rigorous training and are prepared to serve and protect their communities. The 71st ceremony also paid a moving tribute to BLET Director Lieutenant Obbie Blanton III, who recently passed away. His dedication and leadership will forever be remembered.
National Technical Honor Society and Phi Theta Kappa Recognize Their Largest Number of Inductees Bright minds were honored at the Spring 2024 Induction Ceremonies for Phi Theta Kappa and the National Technical Honor Society! BCC President Gene Smith presented certificates to deserving students, marking their dedication and achievements. National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) inducted 26 members in 2024, compared to 14 students in Spring 2023, and 6 students in Spring 2022.
