DBS Group Opens Rochester Office Design-build construction company DBS Group will cut the ribbon on its new Rochester office on Thursday, July 29. Headquartered in the La Crosse, Wisconsin area, the commercial construction manager and general contractor finished renovating its new office space in the Valley High Business Center in July.
National Award for Olmsted County Olmsted County was announced as a recipient of one of the National Association of Counties’ (NACo) 2021 Achievement Awards in the category of Criminal Justice and Public Safety for the Olmsted County Pretrial Release Program. These NACo awards honor innovative, effective county government programs.
Councilmember Appointed to SEAP Councilmember Mark Bransford has been appointed to the Minnesota Special Education Advisory (SEAP). He will serve a three year term. The purpose of the SEAP is to provide a broad base of input to Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) staff related to the education of children with disabilities.
KSMQ Presents Award Eric Olson, President and CEO of KSMQ Public Television, Austin/ Rochester, presented the National Educational Telecommunications Association’s 2021 Public Service Award to Mohamed Sheik Nur of the Intercultural Mutual Assistance Association of Rochester (IMMA) for IMMA’s help encouraging participation in the 2021 Census. The Berkman Receives Recognition The Berkman was recognized by Finance and Commerce Magazine as one of Minnesota’s Top Construction Projects of 2020. The Berkman is also a finalist for the 2021 RE Journal Real Estate Awards in the Greater Minnesota Multifamily category.
