On behalf of everyone involved with the J/R program we welcome you to our annual bull sale!! This will be the 2nd year hosting the sale at the Jenson Ranch. We greatly appre- ciate all of you loyal customers that stuck with us in the move home. We were welcomed with some new faces at the sale and appreciate each and everyone of you that joined us on sale day. It has been quite the year with plentiful moisture throughout the spring and summer and so far a mild winter!! We have set out to produce high quality offspring, pushing performance levels without sacrificing the cow making ability. If efforts to do so, we do end with some terminal cross options for those guys wanting to sell off the cow or for backgrounders looking for extra performance. We strongly suggest reaching out to any one of our contacts to try and point you in the right direction. We are here to help you achieve your goals!!! Our feed program is simple. We compose a ration to aim for these bulls to gain 3 lbs/ day. The main reason we keep these bulls until may is to ensure we get them to target weight as slow and steady as possible. We understand that some outperform their con- temporaries but as an average we are trying to reach 1300-1400 pounds by delivery. We want these bulls to maintain or keep growing on grass and be in your herds for as long as possible. We hope this catalog reaches everyone in good health and high spirits. We are at an all-time high in cattle prices and an all-time low in cattle numbers. Things are looking bright for years to come and no better time to dive into some good genetics!! We want to thank all our previous customers and anyone taking an interest in our program. This dream we are living would not be possible without our loyal customers.
