welcome
DEAR FRIENDS AND FELLOW CATTLEMEN, We would like to personally invite you to join us for our 9th Annual Bull Sale and thank you for your interest in our program. We truly appreciate the friendships, support, and trust of our customers and fellow cattle producers. It is a privilege to work in an industry built on relationships, hard work, and a shared commitment to raising quality cattle. This set of Angus cattle represents our continued focus on the traits that matter to us and to commercial cattlemen — structural soundness, fertility, maternal strength, performance, and longevity. These cattle have been developed under practical conditions and are expected to go out and work for you, not just look good on sale day. Our goal is to provide dependable genetics that will add value and profitability to your operation for years to come. A program like this is never a one-person effort. We would like to extend a sincere thank you to our hired hands, Brent and Kyle, for their hard work, long hours, and dedication to the cattle and the day-to-day operation. We are also incredibly grateful for the support of our family. Thank you to our parents for the foundation they provided and the work ethic they instilled. A special thank you to my dad, Ron, whose experience, guidance, and daily help continue to play a big role in our operation. And thank you to my wife and kids for their patience, encouragement, and the many sacrifices they make to support this way of life. Whether you are a longtime customer or attending for the first time, we truly appreciate your interest and your confidence in our program. If we can help you evaluate cattle or make selections that fit your goals, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We look forward to visiting with you on sale day and helping you find Angus genetics that will move your program forward. Thank you again, and we hope to see you on March 12. A NOTE FROM COLIN – Welcome to our 9th Annual Spring Bull Sale. I think that this is the most complete set of bulls yet. Leading off, this pair of Victory sons are a great set of flush brothers. They go back to the great D313 cow sold to 2S Angus in our 2025 Fall Sale. This pair is followed by two nice paternal brothers. The Winchester sons follow with the Lot 5 bull being an absolute stud. He has an outstanding set of numbers to back up his looks. The other three Winchester sons are really attractive to look at, with the Lot 8 bull being the number one $C and Ribeye bull in the sale. The lot 9 bull has the wow factor when you walk in the pen. Charles Henke

The Grindstone sons are some of the first progeny out of Grindstone to be sold at auction. These bulls are extremely wide based and deep bodied. This is our second year of Bold Ruler sons. I think they will be a crowd favorite again like last year. The Lot 30 bull goes back to our most progressive donor 0169. The Jamesons are another returning sire group that have lots of growth and are bulls you can’t go wrong with. The Lot 44 and 45 bulls are standouts out of Hart Network, whom I have yet to find a bad calf out of. The Lot 46 bull is our first son out of Henke Historic, which I think will be a popular sire for us in the future. He is followed by lot 47 who is a maternal brother to 0169. We have a unique set of sons out of Foundation, which I believe has a bright future in the breed. The 3 Identified sons are all picture bulls. I think this has a lot to say about them phenotypically and they have the EPDs to back it up. The 2 pairs of Ambitious sons are all out of progressive donor dams with the lot 63 bull being a pen favorite. The Black Bandolier sons are very easy fleshing and will put the pounds on the ground. We like these bulls so much that we used lots 66 and 67 in our herd.
The Armstrong sons will be great to keep heifers out of for herd building. The Rise Aboves are a uniform group that, I think, are perfect for making sound and functional cattle. We have some Craftsman and Pacific sons who have been popular sire groups in the past and I believe these bulls are some of the best ones yet.
The Symmetry sons are out of some of our most proven donors over the last couple of years. The Kindreds are a set of bulls that carry a lot of marbling. Lot 93 is one of my favorite bulls in the sale out of a cow that will eat corn out of my hand.
The lots 94 and 97 bulls are out of some of our top donor cows. The Thedford, Man in Black, Commerce, and Step Up bulls have been popular sire groups in the past and the females out of them are working hard in the pastures. A grouping of lots 104-109 bulls are some younger fall bulls whose sires we used in our herd. We end with the lot 110 bull whose dam was purchased with Panther Creek Angus in Reverse Rocking R’s 2024 production sale. Overall, this is a complete set of bulls ready to work.
