Huntsville Museum Huntsville, Ala.
EMJ performed the expansion of this two-level museum in downtown Huntsville. Exterior construction included a curtain wall, stucco, EIFS, specialty glass awnings, a retaining wall and all site work. Interior finishes included carpet, travertine tile accents and custom millwork to match the existing floor and door moldings. The EMJ team added a new elevator, a stage, retractable screens and blinds, a state-of-the art dimming and audio-visual system, a kitchen, new restrooms and more. The project team also coordinated with local authorities to rework a neighboring street and traffic signal.
