Over the past 12 months, we have seen record cattle prices in the indus- try. It is gratifying to finally see ranchers being compensated for their dedication and hard work in raising quality livestock. As we look ahead to rebuilding the nation’s cow herd, we believe that emphasizing strong maternal traits will be crucial for achieving profitability in the future. Our focus remains on cows that demonstrate fertility, possess good udders, and consistently produce quality calves. These attributes will be at the forefront of our breeding decisions moving forward.
