Eventique - December 2022

Meet Senior Project Manager Allison Bonacquisti EVENTIQUE’S HOLIDAY EVENT PLANNER EXTRAORDINAIRE!

“I’m a people person, so I just really love working with all types of clients, being the holder of information, staying very organized, and making sure all the i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed,” Allison says. At Eventique, Allison has immersed herself in cutting- edge event formats: livestream events, hybrid in-person and digital gatherings, and even traveling productions like Youth to the People’s Future World Tour. The latter required her team to fabricate a 31-foot vintage Airstream and transform it into the brand’s “future world” on wheels. The Airstream appeared in front of Sephora stores in over a half-dozen markets. Shoppers stepped inside to immerse themselves in Youth to the People’s vision and learn about the brand’s Polypeptide-121 Future Cream. “My favorite part was watching the fabrication come together and working with our creative department, our creative leads, and our designers to really portray what the client wanted to showcase,” Allison recalls. “We had to make sure the fabrication elements fit their brand and were sustainable as well. I’d never produced a national road trip tour, so there was a lot to consider — it was definitely a bit of a learning curve!” Though Allison has a soft spot for weddings — no surprise, considering her own marriage to her fiance, Kyle, is in the works! — corporate holiday parties are some of her favorite events to coordinate each year. “The magic of the holidays is just so heartwarming to me,” she says. “There’s something really special about helping people celebrate with their families and friends.

Nine years ago, Allison Bonacquisti made her New York City debut as an art gallery consultant. It

was an unexpected move for someone with years of experience as an event planner for the wedding industry in Buffalo, New York — but the shakeup was just what Allison needed. “I really wanted to expand my horizons, and I thought New York City was the perfect place to do that,” she says. “I wanted to meet new clients, do different types of events, learn more about the industry, and venture outside of the wedding arena.”

Allison’s minor in art history gave her a back door into the gallery scene. But after a year on the circuit, she missed using her marketing

and management expertise in the fast-paced event planning world. So, she dove back in! For the next few years, she planned corporate and social holiday celebrations in venues like the Bryant Park Winter Village, coordinated sponsor and brand activations, and handled

the logistics for large multiday festivals like the Forbes Under 30 Summit and the Big Apple Barbecue Block Party.

By the time Eventique snapped Allison up and

offered her the post of senior

project manager in 2022, she was a seasoned logistics professional.
