In 2023, when the unit faced the loss of their nurse director, Erin assumed the role of interim nurse director, offering stability and advocacy. She guided her team through a challenging transition, offering mentorship and support to the new nurse director.
Spaulding Cambridge Erika Dilbarian BSN, RN, CWON takes the lead in bedside care, instilling confidence in the entire patient care team with her extensive knowledge and expertise in wound care. Collaborating with her mentor, Jennifer Godfrey MSN, RN, CWON, they have revamped the wound care training program. Erika actively engages the interdisciplinary team, fostering a culture of curiosity, and consistently advocates for best practices in patient care.
Spaulding Cape Cod David Soprano MHA, BSN, RN, CPHQ, a-IPC played a key role in implementing the virtual visit program at Spaulding Cape Cod, overseeing everything from family visits to physician appointments. Additionally, he took the lead in launching the quality dashboard project using Tableau.
Spaulding Brighton Haruka Tamura BSN, RN, a staff nurse at Spaulding Brighton. She played a pivotal role in the fundraising efforts for the Build A Bed Project by organizing dance classes at her local studio to assist with the cause.
Ambulatory Services Nancy Milligan MS, RN, Director, Medical Services Ambulatory Operations, exemplifies the ICARE principles daily. She is highly involved in ambulatory transformation. She recently worked with her team to revisit and strengthen the time-out procedure across the PM&R practices. She is highly energetic and motivates her team to be the best they can be.
