In 2026, Wilmington Country Club proudly celebrates 125 years of rich traditions, enduring connections, and unforgettable experiences that have shaped the Club into the cherished community you proudly call home. This milestone is a testament to the generations of members who have shared in our history, contributed to our legacy, and helped define the exceptional culture and camaraderie that set Wilmington Country Club apart. To commemorate this extraordinary anniversary, the Board of Directors is pleased to introduce a limited-time membership opportunity: The 125th Anniversary Heritage Pathway. This unique program allows new members to join at a special Stock rate of $62,500, which includes a $12,500 Heritage Credit. This credit not only reflects a meaningful tribute to our 125th anniversary but also provides a rare opportunity to begin membership at a preferred value. The Heritage Pathway offers a thoughtful way to honor the Club’s past, celebrate the present, and welcome the next generation of Wilmington Country Club members. The Heritage Pathway is far more than a financial incentive—it is an invitation to join a community deeply rooted in tradition, dedicated to exceptional golf, and committed to providing outstanding amenities and experiences for generations to come. By participating, members become part of a living legacy, connecting with fellow members who value the spirit, history, and future of Wilmington Country Club. EXISTING PLANS
Our existing membership options include the Legacy Member program, which recognizes long-standing family connections to the Club, as well as the 65+ Stock Discount Program, providing a special opportunity for individuals 65 and over to enjoy the benefits of membership while receiving a preferred stock purchase rate. There is no change to these programs.
Below, you will find an overview of these existing programs:
Legacy Member Stock Discount Program
Legacy Members are the son’s or daughter’s age 40 and under of a Senior or Associate member who currently, or have been, a dues-paying member. Legacy Members earn a 2% discount toward the purchase of Stock for each year they are a dues-paying member, up to a maximum discount of 60%. Legacy Members are required to purchase Stock in the following increments: First share at age 30 Second share at age 35 Final two shares at age 40 Any accrued Legacy discount applies to each Stock share purchase, as well as to any increase in the Stock price at the time of purchase. For each required Stock share purchase, Legacy Members may elect to pay over a five (5) year period.
The 125th Anniversary Heritage Stock Credit may notbe applied to Legacy Member Stock purchases already receiving the 2% discount.
Each Legacy Member’s stock purchase scenario is unique, shaped by their individual membership history and accrued discount, and we recommend contacting the Membership Office to fully understand your specific situation

This program offers a discounted Stock purchase for new members who are 65 years of age or older at the time their proposal packet is received in the Club Office.

The discount is determined by the candidate’s age at the time the proposal packet is received by the Club Office. Please note: Individuals who join using the 65+ Discount Program are not eligible to participate in any Stock Deferred Purchase Program or the Heritage Pathway Program.
HERITAGE PATHWAY PROGRAMS
40 and Over - Non Legacy
Option One: 125th Anniversary Heritage Pathway Paid in Full at Election The 125th Anniversary Heritage Pathway would apply as outlined below: Current 4 Shares of Stock: $75,000 Less Heritage Credit: $12,500 Total Stock Investment: $62,500
Option Two: 125th Anniversary Heritage Pathway Deferred Plan Under this option, members would purchase one share of Stock at the time of election, followed by one share each year over the subsequent three (3) years.
The 125th Anniversary Heritage Pathway would apply as outlined below: Current Share Price: $18,750 Heritage Credit: $3,125 per share
The 125th Anniversary Heritage Pathway credit of $3,125 per share would be applied to each annual Stock purchase. A carrying fee would apply to any unpaid balance, and any applicable Share price increases would still apply to future stock purches..
Under 40 - Non Legacy
If eligible, the 125th Anniversary Heritage Pathway would apply as outlined below: Current Share Price: $18,750 Less Heritage Credit: $3,125 per share or $1,562.50 per ½ share
Under this scenario, Stock purchases continue to follow the required schedule: Under30: ½ share at time of election with the remaining ½ share due at 30
30-34: One share at the time of election 35-39: Two shares at the time of election Final two shares at age 40
The $3,125 Heritage Credit per share will be applied at the time of each Stock purchase. Any applicable Share price increases would still apply to future stock purches. A carrying fee will continue to apply to any unpaid balance. Addendum: If you are under 40 and unmarried, or if you are married and your spouse joins with you, you may elect to purchase your stock using the Heritage Pathway credit over a five-year deferred period, subject to a carrying fee on the balance and any applicable increases in the stock price.
Legacy Members
Legacy Members are the son’s or daughter’s age 40 and under of a Senior or Associate member who currently, or have been, a dues-paying member.
There may be circumstances in which the 125th Anniversary Heritage Pathway credit provides a greater benefit toward a Legacy Member’s Stock purchase than their accrued Legacy discount.
In such cases, the Heritage Pathway would apply as outlined below: Current Share Price: $18,750 Heritage Credit: $3,125 per share
Under this scenario, Legacy Members would not receive any Legacy Stock discount. Stock purchases would continue to follow the required Legacy schedule: First share at age 30 Second share at age 35 Final two shares at age 40 Each required Stock purchase may be paid over a five (5) year period with no carrying fee. The $3,125 Heritage Credit per share would apply at the time of each Stock purchase. Any applicable Share price increases would still apply to future stock purches.
