Group’s world headquar- ters at Mack-Cali Centre II, a class A office building located at 650 From Road in Paramus. River Drive, which served as general contractor for the project, created a more nurturing and collabora- tive design studio for Mova- do’s watch design team. A comprehensive restack of 11,000 s/f of space, the proj- ect entailed the development of workrooms, conference rooms, a library, a presenta- tion room, a training room and a pantry. Owned by Mack-Cali Re- alty Corporation , Mack- Cali Centre II is located adjacent to the Garden State Parkway and within walk- ing distance of the Paramus Park mall. The 348,510 s/f, five-sto- ry building features a full- height sky lit atrium over- looking a courtyard with pond, an on-site café, beau- tiful landscaping, outdoor seating and public trans- portation to Manhattan and throughout Bergen County. “It’s always challenging to complete construction work in an occupied space, but this project was especially com- plex and required detailed logistical planning,” said Joseph Langan , president of River Drive Construction. “Despite having to work within an occupied area with construction occurring in three different areas, our team did a fantastic job of completing the project on time and within budget with- out disrupting the tenant’s business operations.” The renovation was de- signed by architectural firm Studio 1200 and furnished by Business Furniture, Inc. n
