Bestowed by East Wind- sor Township Mayor Janice Mironov, the award recognizes Advance’s successfully reposi- tioning of Windsor Center, a 130,233 s/f retail site at 440 Rte. 130 South. In 2012, a joint-venture partnership of Advance Realty and Structure Tone Equities acquiredWind- sor Center and subsequently repositioned the property by investing significant capital to improve its appearance and operations. The investment has resulted in an increase in tenant leas- ing at the site, including leases with Bottom Dollar and Retro Fitness, which have recently opened for business, Smash- burger and popular retail chain Ross Dress for Less, which will take occupancy of its space in the second half of 2014. Designed to recognize local businesses that make special efforts to improve or contribute to the community through busi- ness beautification, community service or community enhance- ment, East Windsor Township’s Business Awards program is administered by a selection committee that includes rep- resentatives from the Town- ship Economic Development Committee, and the Township Environmental Commission. n
