Bertram Completes Sale Of Maxcess Parent Company Bertram Capital (Bertram) has announced the com- pletion of the sale of WH Acquisitions, Inc., the parent company of Maxcess to Berwind Corporation. Max- cess is a global manufacturer of systems and equip- ment for web-handling applications. This transaction represents Bertram’s 11th exit since the firm’s launch in 2006.Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) has issued a call for entries for the 2019 Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards.The deadline for entries is Mon- day, November 19, 2018. Awards are given in the following categories: ex- panding the use of flexible packaging, technical inno- vation, sustainability, printing and shelf impact, and packaging excellence.All entries are judged by an in- dependent panel of experts. The FPA has conducted the annual Flexible Packag- ing Achievement Awards Competition since 1956 to showcase the industry’s innovation and the advances that have changed packaging.
