your touring options

There are many different ways to explore your chosen destination; from aboard a supremely comfortable coach, to exciting explorations on foot for the more adventurous.

ESCORTED COACH TOURS

INDEPENDENT TOURS

For those who enjoy the company of like-minded travellers, an escorted tour is a great way to see world-famous sights, or to discover a path less well-trodden. From the comfort of a large, air-conditioned coach, and with the help of an expert local guide, you’ll learn about your destination in a safe and fun environment, with many of your meals also included.

If you’re looking to discover the heart and soul of a country or region, then independent touring could be the option for you. Our selected itineraries strike the perfect balance between the freedom of travelling independently and the convenience of having your accommodation and transport pre- arranged; leaving you free to explore all that the area has to offer.

SMALL GROUP TOURING

SELF DRIVE TOURS

For many destinations, there is no better way of appreciating them than on the open road. Self drive touring gives you the freedom to explore your chosen destination at your own pace without the worry of booking each individual hotel. We partner with only the best car hire companies worldwide and suggest the best routes. These tours can be tailored to your specific holiday requirements to create the road trip of a lifetime.

If you prefer the convenience of an escorted tour but want something a little more intimate, consider a small group tour. Travelling by 4WD or bus in a maximum group size of 16 (usually less), you’ll enjoy a holiday that’s filled with unique experiences. With the help of an expert local guide or driver, you’ll learn all about your destination from someone with genuine passion and knowledge.

RAIL & CRUISE JOURNEYS

Some of the world’s most iconic experiences feature amongst our rail and cruise journeys. TheTrans Mongolian Express, Japan’s bullet trains, Canada’s Rocky Mountaineer, as well as cruises to the Galápagos and the polar ice cap of Antarctica are just a few of the unforgettable experiences we offer.

(BL) Day 5: Selcuk – Pamukkale A magnificent train ride through the mountainous landscape of Turkey brings you to one of the country’s most photographic sites, Pamukkale. The name translates to ‘cotton castle’, owing to spectacular natural hot springs with high calcium bicarbonate content cascading over the edge of the cliffs, leaving bright, white deposit terraces (the ‘cotton’). Take some time to visit the nearby ancient city of Hierapolis and take a dip in what used to be Cleopatras’s old pool. (B) Hotel Day 6: Pamukkale – Kayakoy Take a short bus ride southward to reach the small village of Kayakoy. The town of Goreme lies in a fantastic region of cones, needles and columns, fashioned by nature from the soft volcanic tuff rock. It’s honeycombed with caves scooped out to make churches and dwellings that are known as fairy chimneys and castles. The next two days are devoted to Goreme, with some free time on Day 13 for exploring at your leisure or taking a magical hot air balloon flight above the city. Day 14 will find you walking the valleys and enjoying a meal with a local family in their own home.
