SMART City of St. Augustine Master Plan The SMART City of St. Augustine Master Plan is a signature element of the SMART North Florida Plan to utilize emerging technology to improve mobility, water, energy, and health. The City of St. Augustine is working with the Florida Department of Transportation and the North Florida TPO to deploy smart technology to preserve the historic quality of the district while addressing congestion, safety, and environmental sustainability. The SMART City of St. Augustine Master Plan incorporates tools and innovations to incorporate smart parking, enhanced roadside sensors, transponders for automated vehicles and “for hire” vehicles throughout the district.
Figure 3-27 and Figure 3-28 provide images of the St. Augustine SMART Master Plan.
